Frequently Asked Questions

If your question is not answered below, feel free to reach out info@pisgahpetcare.pet or 828.747.4948

I provide services for dogs, cats, birds, small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters as well as farm animals on a case by case basis.

At this time we are only offering pet sitting visits, not overnights as we need to be home with our own fur babies.

At this time boarding is not something we offer.

We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, there will be a cancellation fee.

Please visit the "Services & Rates" section. If you have questions, please reach out to me at info@pisgahpetcare.pet or feel free to text me 828.747.4948

We serve Asheville, as far west as Canton, as far north as Weaverville, as far south as Arden and as far east as Swannanoa.

Absolutely! In fact, it’s a requirement! We want to ensure that both you and your pet(s) are comfortable with us and we also want to make sure we are the best folks for the job! We will coordinate with you to schedule a meet and greet where we all meet and get to know one another and each other’s needs and expectations.

Yes, we are bonded and insured through Pet Care Insurance

Heck no for so many reasons! Your dog will only be walked with dogs within its own household and that is only if that is what you and your pet prefer, otherwise they will be walked separately. No other dogs will be allowed near your dog. If any dogs are off leash in our company, their parent will be asked to leash their dog.

We know many parents feel its a great way to socialize their dogs, however, they present a safety concern, especially post-pandemic where there are many dogs, like us people, who are still getting used to be around others. Long story short, we will not be taking your dog to a dog park.

Yes, I (Elizabeth) have my CPCR/First Aid certificate.

Yes, Elizabeth has had one via Auntie M pet service, who she still also works for, and we can supply our own via Acutraq upon request.

Yes! We bring in packages, check and bring in the mail, and keep your home neat and tidy just the way you left it!
